Why soil matters
There will be nearly 10 billion people on the planet by 2050.
Feeding everyone will require radical innovation in agriculture – while also reducing the impact on the planet. We know this is achievable, thanks to the natural, and vital role that phosphorus plays in nourishing soil and supporting plant growth.
We understand how everything is interconnected. By making better use of our natural resources, we can support more crops, more farmers, more communities and more natural environments.

At the heart of everything is always people.
We want to ensure the world is fed, and we want to do this by offering opportunity to people – by encouraging empowerment and nurturing this through skills creation and education. Through our work with researchers and agronomists, we provide farmers with the best advice to ensure they can maximize their potential.
Understanding this interconnectivity and balance is how we believe we can ensure shared value creation and sustainable growth for everyone.

Farmer focus
Empowering farmers to deliver sustainable nutrition to a growing world
OCP Nutricrops has a farmer-centric approach putting the farmer at the heart of all the solutions it designs and deploys. It aims to reimagine farming to make it more resilient and more sustainable.
This requires sustainably increasing productivity of soils and crops, deploying a best-in-class product offer based on science and R&D. OCP Nutricrops promotes the implementation of innovative solutions that create new ecosystems and deliver best agricultural practices.
OCP Nutricrops is therefore committed to work hand-in-hand with farmers around the world, offering a multitude of products, services and solutions.
Our promises
Enhanced Soil Health
We help farmers access the best products and latest knowledge so they can protect and enhance their soils, boosting productivity and incomes.
Customized Solutions
By leveraging advanced soil mapping and tailor-made products, we enable farmers to apply just the right amount of fertilizer at the crucial growth stages of a plant. This approach allows for more efficient crop production with fewer resources. Our flexible production system allows us to create fine-tuned fertilizers for the specific needs of a farmer’s soil.
Committed to Change
We’re committed to making radical and lasting changes across our operations – to benefit business, community, and environment. We take pride in fostering a collaborative workplace, where the collective expertise of our team is harnessed to amplify the beneficial outcomes of our operations. This ensures our growth and ability to invest in the future.
Vision & purpose
We have a vital role to play in helping farmers around the world produce enough food.
This role starts with increasing the production of phosphate-based products to meet the growing demand, it includes understanding the different soil and crop requirements, and supporting the farmers’ sustainable use of fertilizer.
We need to produce more with less. We’re already making progress. We’re investing in innovation that will improve the efficiency of using and reusing phosphate, we’re conducting soil mapping and analysis around the world and we’re customizing our approach and products so we can do right by everyone. Agriculture can make a huge impact in the fight against climate change thanks to the potential of carbon sequestration, but to do this, soil must be as healthy as possible.

Sustainability
OCP Nutricrops is firmly committed to sustainability in all its operations and value chain.
Whether in reengineering its processes to cut water use and emissions, or working with farmers to ensure proper nutrient management.
By 2030, the company aims to achieve 100% customized, carbon-free, and green products and solutions, and by 2040 to achieve carbon neutrality for all indirect emissions related to its products and their use.
The new subsidiary of OCP Group also aspires to develop products and techniques that allow healthy soils to capture significant amounts of carbon, thus helping to combat climate change and making high-yield agriculture a carbon-positive reality.
Our goal is to address the rising demand for phosphate while minimizing our environmental footprint. To achieve this, we are revolutionizing our processes, enhancing efficiency, embracing and producing green energy, and assisting farmers globally in utilizing just the necessary amount of phosphate.
