OCP Nutricrops, the global customized plant nutrition solutions business, has attended the 16th International Agriculture Exhibition (SIAM) event in Meknes, Morocco.
The event, opened by Morocco’s Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan included exhibitions and speakers related to agricultural innovation in production and sustainability.
Alongside attendees from across the globe, OCP Nutricrops participated in discussions on key topics and took part in knowledge exchange around the event’s theme of “Climate and agriculture: advocating sustainable and resilient production system”.
To allow attendees to truly experience our expertise, key OCP Nutricrops competencies were displayed in an interactive touchscreen unit. This allowed delegates to explore OCP Nutricrops’ expertise in soil mapping and analysis that helps farmers intelligently apply and better customize plant nutrition solutions. Solutions such as these, in addition to the 4Rs of fertilizer management, will be key in ensuring we can feed a growing world sustainably.
The event also played host to fascinating side events attended by key partners in the AgriTech and plant nutrition industries, hosted in the OCP Group pavilion, targeting attendees in our ecosystem such as agronomists and farmers.
An attendee at OCP Nutricrops, said: “It was wonderful to be able to showcase the OCP Nutricrops vision in front of an international audience at SIAM. In addition to our in-house teams of agronomists, OCP Nutricrops relies on the R&D and innovation expertise of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University and draws on the latest technological advances and the most accurate agricultural data for high-performance agriculture, while helping to combat climate change.”
